Klezmer music has its origin in Eastern Europe. The Jewish musicians–the so called Klezmorim–usually played at weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and other special occacions. Therefore Klezmer is a very lively and festive music that is made up of many dance forms.
This book/CD set features 14 pieces arranged for Bb and C instruments. You can play along with Frank Wekenmann, guitar – Florian Dohrmann, bass – Ralph Abelein, accordion and Markus Faller, percussion.
