3 PIECES LATINES POUR GUITARE
AUTEUR: LEO BROUWER
STYLE: Classique
NIVEAU: Difficile
COMMENTAIRE: Edité par Frédéric Zigante.
Written in 1962 by a brilliantly imaginative Leo Brouwer at the age of only twenty-three, the Tres piezas latinoamericanas are published here together for the first time under the Eschig imprint in an edition based on the composer’s autograph manuscripts. The Tres piezas belong to a musical genre between actual composition and arrangement; they represent in fact one of the rare instances in which Leo Brouwer drew his inspiration from pre-existing themes taken from Andean and Argentinian folk tunes or from the work of other composers, such as Carlos Guastavino and Astor Piazzolla. French, English, Spanish and Italian texts.
